Accommodations
All accommodations include private secure entrances, private full baths with complete amenities, hair dryers, bath robes, irons and ironing board, Cable TV/VCR/DVD, refrigerator, mini-bar, housekeeping, in-room coffee/tea service, flashlights, heat, dehumidifiers and welcome candies. Please refer to individual accommodation for complete details. Aloha Place- Inn of Volcano accommodations include our self serve complimentary "Island-Style" all-you-can-eat breakfast served daily from 7am-9am. Aloha Place- Inn of Volcano offers FREE unlimited use of high speed broadband 24/7, Wifi is available in all accommodations and our lobby area serves as an art gallery featuring several artists original works. The Guest House at Pali Uli offers a library and video library with well over 500 selections from which to choose from. Both Aloha Place- Inn of Volcano and Guest House at Pali Uli offer fireplaces for your additional enjoyment 24/7 and is stocked with kindling and firewood on a daily basis free of charge. Guests may use facilities offered at both locations. Upon request we often provide daypacks, binoculars, rain gear, warm jackets, and picnic baskets for your hiking pleasure for those special occasions. Our promise is to provide the utmost in privacy during your stay, in addition to your comfort. However, while we are not always able to greet you upon your arrival, we are available by phone 24/7 on our "after hours" phone numbers to assist with any special needs.
Policies
Check-In- 3:00 p.m. Both Aloha Place- Inn of Volcano and Guest House at Pali Uli are Self-Check-In facilities. Detailed instructions will be provided upon confirmation of your reservation.
Express Check-Out- 11:00 a.m. A late check-out of 12pm may be arranged without a fee by notifying the office in advance.
Reservation Policy - All reservations are confirmed with a deposit equal to 100% of your stay payable by Visa/Master Card. Should there be a need to change dates on your reservation, we ask that these be done by email using stay@alohaplace.com or guesthouse@stayvolcano.com or FAX your changes to (808) 985-7349. Any changes will incur a $20.00 service fee. All date changes are subject to availability with accommodation and length of stay valid for the duration of the reservation. If a change in accommodation is necessary additional charges may apply for an upgrade. Guest House at Pali Uli reserves the right to provide guests an equal or superior quality accommodation, without notice, for one night reservations
Cancellation Policy - Cancellations prior to 30 days of the arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 29 to 15 days prior to the arrival date will receive a 50% refund less a $25 re-booking fee. All other cancellations, NO SHOWS, and early departures will be charged the entire amount of stay without exceptions. All cancellations must be received via email at stay@alohsplace.com or guesthouse@stayvolcano.com or FAX (808) 985-7349. It is important to use the provided forms, no other format will be accepted!
Upon receipt of your cancellation you will be provided with a cancellation number, any refunds receipt or charges as applicable, and a cancellation letter. This information will be sent in the format from which we receive your cancellation. Phone messages will NOT be accepted. Failure to provide proper notice will possibly incur additional charges.
No Shoes Policy - We ask the courtesy from all of our house guests to please remove your shoes before entering our "hale" (home) as it is an island custom and a matter of respect.
Non-Smoking Policy - Both Aloha Place- Inn of Volcano and Guest House at Pali Uli are pleased to provide a smoke-free environment in all guestrooms and public areas. Smoking in a guestroom will result in a charge of $250 being applied to your account. This fee will be used to restore the original air quality level.
Sushi Guest Cottage Cleaning Fee- A $20 Cleaning Fee will be placed against accommodation charges whenever cooking and eating utensils are not properly washed. This fee is imposed ONLY if these items are used and left unclean.
